Step 3 – SDR month and NSN cut-off

After clicking on "Next",  Step 3 of the Trial Validation Uploading Process will appear.

The actions that need to be taken are:

1) Select appropriate Return Month and year.

2) Select the NSN cut off date.

3) Select the NSN cut off time.

4) Click the "Next" button to continue or the "Previous" button to go back.

1) RETURN MONTH

The Return month is the month the SDR return you are trialling is for  (ie the April 2005 SDR has the return month of April 2005).

2) NSN CUT OFF DATE

The NSN Cut-Off is the date where your NSN information matches the NSI. Another tertiary education organisation may make a change to an NSN on the same day later on, but with the cut off  date you will be able to get SDRs through with your NSN information being accurate.

If your SDR has already been through the Trial Validation process and has acheived no NSN errors you can use the cut off date for that return.

3) NSN CUT OFF TIME

The NSN Cut-Off Time is the time where your NSN information matches the NSI. Another tertiary education organisation may make a change to an NSN on the same day later on, but with the cut off time you will be able to get SDRs through with your NSN information matching the NSI.

If your SDR has already been through the Trial Validation process and has acheived no NSN errors you can use the cut off date for that return.

Note:

If you make changes in the NSI you need to wait 3 minutes before you validate for these changes to be reflected in your eSDR.
