When and how to do Final Validation?

Once your Trial Validation has returned without any errors – as per Handling Errors and Warnings – you may then do a Final Validation.

The six steps in doing a Final Validation are exactly the same as those used in carrying out a Trial Validation:

•    Step 1 – Selecting the SDR file type

•    Step 2 – Uploading SDR files

•    Step 3 – Selecting the return month and NSN cut-off date

•    Step 4 – Entering notional EFTS

•    Step 5 – Confirmation of upload

•    Step 6 – Processing

You may want to revise Trial Validation to see how this is done.

To begin final validation click the link on the SDR validation page.

Then click on "Validate New SDR" to begin the process.

It is strongly suggested that you check through your Course Register Differences before uploading your files in Final Validation, as your final SDR cannot be submitted until both auto and manually approved values have been approved.

If you wish to go to another module please use the appropriate tab on the menu bar above.

If you wish to go to another part of "Completing an eSDR" module please select the part from the left hand menu.

If you wish to go to another section within this current part of "Final Validation" please click to return to the contents page.
