Single Data Return 2009: Update There will be no system changes to the Single Data Return (SDR) for 2009
Some operational changes (reflecting changes in tertiary education policy) may be necessary during 2008 for 2009, however it is expected that these will not require changes to tertiary education organisation’s (TEOs) student management systems. Any operational changes to the SDR will be notified as soon as consultation with the sector is concluded and decisions are made.
The decision not to make system changes to the SDR for 2009 recognises the need for more time to work with the sector. Consultation on potential system changes for the 2010 SDR, for example to address data quality and coverage issues, will occur in late 2008.
In the meantime, the revised Generic Enrolment Form for 2009 (doc, 152kb) is now available for download.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Ministry of Education Sector Service Desk on 0800 422 599.
